Training Support  

  • Training and development pursuant to Department of Energy (DOE) Training Accreditation Program (TAP) and DOE Conduct of Operations requirements

  • Instructions provide operational and environmental classes covering: RCRA, TSCA, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (8, 24, 40, 16 hr. Supervisor), OSHA additional (lockout tagout, confined spaces, etc.) and basic/function specific DOT. Operational specific training is also available

Waste Management and Pollution Prevention

  • Developing natural strategies for current and future waste management and pollution prevention.

Waste Transportation Services

  • Provide specialized waste transportation services. 

  • Waste segregation requirements and tracking reports.

  • Identify packaging appropriate for the waste type and physical form.
  • Develop transportation and route plans.
  • Determine and authorize the re-use of containers per CFR, Transportation.
  • Provide waste container certification.
  • Obtain back-up information for each container on the load list to reference during shipment preparation.
  • Prepare shipping papers.
  • Determine the marking and labeling for waste packages.
  • Provide shipping notification to destination facility and other groups as needed.
  • Obtain peer reviews of shipping papers for all shipments.

Nuclear Operations Support

  • Nondestructive Assay/Nondestructive Evaluation (NDA/NDE) Services
